# Emerging Tech Center

> The Emerging Tech Center (ETC) is Phoenix, Arizona's grassroots hub for blockchain, AI, and emerging-technology community. ETC formally launched in January 2026, uniting six independent Arizona-based ventures under one coordinated banner: Stand With Crypto AZ, Devils DAO, Crowd CTRL, Cactus Partners, Cryptoaire Boys Club, and AI Film 3. We organize weekly community events, education and workshops, flagship festivals, and policy advocacy across the Phoenix metro area.

## The six ventures

- **Stand With Crypto AZ** — Arizona's local chapter of the national Stand With Crypto movement. Voter education, civic engagement, and grassroots policy advocacy. Helped pass HB 2749 into law in May 2025. Site: standwithcrypto.org

## Policy context

- **HB 2749** (signed May 7, 2025): Arizona's Bitcoin & Digital Assets Reserve Fund bill. Made Arizona the first U.S. state to retain unclaimed digital assets in their native form. Stand With Crypto AZ helped organize grassroots advocacy for the bill.
- **SB 1025** (vetoed May 2, 2025): The Arizona Strategic Bitcoin Reserve Act. Passed both chambers before being vetoed by the Governor. Would have allowed the State Treasurer to hold Bitcoin as part of state reserves.
